2000 Audi A4. ABS lights are turning on. ABS module has been pinned down. My employer did not want to spend the money on a new one, so we purchased a used one. The problem is that after I installed the replacement module, the ABS and brake lights illuminated. I'm also unable to interact with the module. When I insert the old ABS module, the light goes off. The numbers on the pump housing P/N 8E0614111A match.
My issue is, should the used one we received operate and be able to interact with the tester, or should it be returned to the dealer for reprograming?
