I have a 1998 Audi A4 quattro with ABS issues, and the dealer claims the ABS module is defective! It cost $800 to repair! I'm a decent mechanic, so I got a used one from a nearby yard for $175, and the Mitchells handbook states it's under the rear seat. I removed the back seat, and there was no module!! I'm quite sure this is a Bosch 5.3 system, therefore why is there no module? Any suggestions? please!
