Has anybody had the ABS warning light on in conjunction with a flashing brake light? I have a 1998 A4 2.8 liter engine that has had the ABS light come on at various times, the brake light then blinks, and they both remain on, go off, etc. with intermittent displaying over the previous two weeks.
Audi believes it might be one of two things: First (and cheapest), an instrument failure (I also have a temperature gauge that works sometimes) or second, a real failure of the ABS system that requires replacement.
