Hyundai Genesis 2015 I changed the brake switch today and now just drive in my neighborhood. The brake, ABS, and ESC lights are all on. C1611 and C1616 are valid codes, however C1513 is obvious.
I visited the dealer, who claimed that the ABS module was to blame and wanted to charge me $4000. The ABS pump module costs $80, and the dealer may flash it. Just make sure the car's manufacturing date matches. Because they wanted to sell me the $4000 item, they attempted to convince me it couldn't be done. Bags of scum.
Anyone with knowledge of a fix? My neighborhood dealer is not someone I can trust since they just know how to rob their customers.
Any advice would be much appreciated.
