Jeep Liberty 2010 My mechanic says that in order to pull air out of the lines and "exercise" the new ABS controller, I must first bleed the brakes normally. After that, I must bleed the brakes normally once more.
My ABS light has come on. I drove my Jeep to the dealership, and after reading the codes, they informed me that the ABS controller is broken. As a new one costs over $1000.00 and I purchased a used one for $120.00, I am considering purchasing another one from a wrecking yard. I haven't installed it, though, because I'm not sure how to "exercise" it. Can a decent DRB11 tool reach a computer, or must a dealer use their incredibly costly equipment to do so?
