My 2010 bmw 535i has recently developed problems. When driving, the ABS light flashes/flickers. There is no difference between halted and moving, however the frequency of the flicker varies.
I occasionally have the ASC and brake lights on, but not frequently enough to disturb me.
My mechanic has scanned the vehicle (not a BMW specialist). I didn't get to view the results, however he did mention an ABS Module Internal Fault. There is no mention of wheel speed sensor failures.
What are everyone's thoughts? Is it possible that this is the ABS module? Do I have to pay the price of a new one?
