GMC 2005 Sonoma had the usual ABS module fault, which caused the pump to operate continuously. I disconnect the module for a few weeks before ordering another from a salvage yard. Install the module, and the vehicle now starts and then quickly shuts off. Unplug the module, and the truck starts normally. I've looked and looked, but I can't seem to find anyone else who is experiencing the same issue. I unplugged the battery and checked the fuses for an hour... It appears that a bad module has to be fixed.
